Eligibility/policies

To ensure the health and safety of our furry friends, all dogs are screened prior to entering the daycare.

All dogs must be healthy and have Titer tests or vaccinations up-to-date. Owners must submit written proof of Titer test results or vaccinations (including Distemper, Parvovirus and Bordetella vaccinations). We also expect that all dogs be treated for any flea, tick or other bug infection.

Owners will need to certify that their dogs are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.

All dogs must not have harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dogs and must not be protective of toys, space, food or people.

Puppies must have 3 sets of shots to participate (unless owner has signed a waiver).

All dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.

All dogs must pass a consultation prior to being admitted to bark ‘n’ lounge. Our consultation includes a fifteen minute personal interview with both dog and owner and an assessment of the dog without the presence of the owner for approximately three hours. People-friendly dogs who enjoy other dogs and are not protective of toys or space are welcome to be interviewed.
